You've come to expect the cars to have dual temperature controls. One for the driver and one for the passenger to choose their own temperature. That's all that comfort zoning is. It's common in vehicles. Each person is able to choose their own comfort zone. Shouldn't you expect the same level of comfort from your home?

TEMPERATURE DIFFERENCES

In a two-story house, the temperatures can be considerably different. We believe that you should be able to control each floor temperature independently, instead of having to open and close vents in hopes of off-setting the difference.

DUCT ZONING

By duct-zoning, Dutch Heating Inc can isolate your first and second floor ducts using reliable automatic dampers. These will be independently controlled by your thermostat. We will utilize the existing thermostat on the current floor, and a second thermostat will be installed on the additional floor. This way you can experience the best comfort no matter where you are in your house.
